Monday night, 7.30pm, September 19th at the Canandaigua VA Auditorium, Building 5 will be this month’s TU Meeting. Cathi Comar, Executive Director of The American Museum of Fly Fishing will be our guest speaker. Her son is a student at RIT, so her visit to the Chapter will be in conjunction with a Parent Weekend visit. The American Museum of Fly Fishing promotes an understanding of and appreciation for the history, traditions and practitioners of the sport of fly fishing. It collects, preserves, exhibits, studies, and interprets the artifacts, art, and literature of the sport and uses these resources to engage and benefit everyone. Located in Manchester, Vermont, the museum is home to the world’s largest collection of angling art and angling-related items, and brings the history of fly fishing alive for anglers and others. This will be a very interesting meeting. Click here to visit the museum’s web site.
